July 6, 2026, Construction Update

On-site construction work to repair the dam was completed in late June 2026. Monitoring and watering of the installed shrubs, perennials, and seed mix will be ongoing over the next year. Public accessing the site are requested to restrict walking to the installed paths and bridges in order to allow the installed vegetation to germinate and grow. In September 2027, DCR anticipates requesting a Certificate of Compliance from the Oxford Conservation Commission in accordance with the project Order of Conditions, after vegetation has become well established.
