August 26, 2025 Construction Update

During August, construction work at the site has continued as planned. Portadam cofferdam installation has been completed, and by-pass pumping is in place, which has effectively dewatered the right-hand (i.e., west) side of the existing dam spillway. Excavation of the existing western spillway is underway. Rock excavation will follow in early September, with concrete work on the western side of the dam planned for late September.
