October 15, 2025 Construction Update

Rock and debris excavation at the site is complete. Concrete work on the eastern side new spillway and training walls is complete, and concrete pours for the western spillway and training walls are starting this week. Concrete work is expected to continue for approximately one month and be complete by the end of November 2025. The portadam and flow-bypass that has been installed upstream of the new dam have been working well to manage water flows and maintain a dry work area on the western side of the dam. Once concrete work is completed in November, the portadam will be removed. Installation of the new pedestrian bridge is scheduled for late November. Site improvements, including installation of the new parking lots, walking paths, and new plantings, are planned to occur in Spring 2026.
